Sting and Shaggy with a rocking concert in Plovdiv...

British rock legend Sting and Jamaican star Shaggy performed two incredible concerts in Plovdiv.

Thousands witnessed the unique performances of the two artists, and the emblematic Plovdiv Antique Theater further contributed to the unforgettable atmosphere.

The concerts of the world-famous performers are part of the European Capital of Culture program, as well as the start of their joint tour.

Fans enjoyed both Sting and Shaggy's most beloved hits and songs from their new joint album "44/876" (comes from the telephone codes of the UK and Jamaica - their birthplaces), which was released on April 20th of this year.

Sting is a performer who is known for showing his audience something different every time.

That is why his collaboration with the Jamaican star has been a huge success.

Shaggy brings a unique and captivating energy to the stage and definitely knows how to entertain an audience.

The audience was on their toes the entire time, dancing engrossed in the stunning atmosphere of the stage under the stars.

It is a little-known fact that Orville Richard Burrell, known by his stage name Shaggy, is not only a performer, musician, DJ, but also a former US Marine.

Some of his most recognizable hits are "Oh Carolina" and "Boombastic".

After his first concert, British legend Sting did not miss to greet the Bulgarian audience on his personal Facebook page.

“Thank you, Plovdiv! Fantastic audience and breathtaking venue! See you again tomorrow night.”

The rock icon has already given a total of 6 concerts in Bulgaria. Last year, he filled a capital city hall with 15,000 people.

Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, born in 1951, was the leader of the band The Police for many years (1976–1984), and since 1984 has been pursuing a solo career.

His album Brand New Day (1999) won two Grammy Awards.

Sting is undoubtedly a cult figure in contemporary music. His work is intellectual, and his performances are precise and refined. The lyrics of his songs have a deep meaning.
