At Sting's concert in the regional center, a Krasnodar resident danced...
The singer said goodbye to the audience three times and then returned to the stage again.
Although Sting's concert was scheduled for seven in the evening, the performer only came out on stage at eight. By that time, all the spectators had arrived. Due to the huge traffic jams in Krasnodar, many people spent hours getting to Basket Hall. But it was already impossible to park near the sports complex. All the parking spaces were taken. And judging by the expensive foreign cars that were parked near the Basket Hall, the people who came to Sting's concert were far from poor.
“I left the city center in my car at half past five in the evening, but arrived at the concert only at eight o’clock – I was stuck in a traffic jam for a very long time,” Olga Khanova from Krasnodar told us.
Knowing that the city was in a traffic jam, Sting arrived at Basket Hall a few hours before the concert. While his musicians were setting up their equipment, he warmed up in the dressing room.
In the capital of Kuban, Sting gave a concert as part of the world tour Back to Bass. His long-time guitarist Dominic Miller, drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, keyboardist David\Sanche, violinist Petr Tickell and vocalist Jo Lowry performed with him.
And when Sting came out on stage, the audience exploded with applause. The people screamed with delight and sang along with the guest. And when an hour and a half had passed, Sting suddenly said goodbye to the audience. He waved his hand and left. But the people continued to whistle and applaud. Then the singer returned and sang his 'Desert Rose'. After performing a couple more songs, he waved to the audience again. But this time he returned again. So Sting left the stage three times.
About 7,000 spectators came to Sting's performance. Tickets for the concert cost from 2,500 rubles to 25,000 rubles.
