Sting captivated 20,000 people in Lima before arriving in Viña del Mar...

Last night, the former member of The Police presented his symphonic show in the Peruvian capital.

Last night, and as a prelude to his concert tomorrow on the Quinta Vergara stage, Sting brought together 20,000 people at Lima's Monumental Stadium, in a show that the Peruvian press described as "unforgettable."

Accompanied by 45 musicians from the neighbouring country's National Symphony Orchestra, the British musician took the stage at 9:20 p.m. to present his show Symphonicities, based on the album of the same name, in which he revisits some of his best-known songs in an orchestral format.

The musician began his show in Peru with his solo classic "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You," followed by "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," one of his hits with The Police. These were followed by other well-known songs such as "Englishman in New York," "Roxanne," and "Message in a Bottle" to close the show.

Tomorrow, Sting will perform this same show in Viña del Mar with the Chilean Symphony Orchestra, in front of a packed Quinta Vergara, as tickets for that day are completely sold out.
